The awesome author Helle Soe Gade, being interviewed @KevinSwarbrick 'Delicously Scandalous Blog Tour'

For every one who has read my post will know I have never interviewed any authors yet, which is crazy considering I know thousands of authors, but for some time now I have been giving it some thought and like my work I wanted these interviews to be different and unique. I want them each to have their own individuality to match the author's personality who do participate.

I want to do an interview that put the author's mind to the test and also to show the readers how awesome their creative minds actually are when put on the spot.. This is a little more than just an interview, with great stories and fun questions, this is one blogspot that should hit the right spot...

My first victim is the lovely awesome author Helle Soe Gade.

Hi Helle, thank you for taking part in this blog challenge, I see you have brought an axe with you, I do hope you don't have to use it...  Now you are here armed and dangerous can you tell us a liitle about yourself ?

I first started writing in 2011 when all the action in my head got too much and writing became an outlet. It wasn't until October 2012 I wrote my first poem ever.  Four months later I published my first poetry collection "Silent Dreams" which readers have greeted very positively. When I'm not writing I take pictures and stuff myself with chocolate.

Sometimes in life we all want more than what we can’t have, but if you had one wish to have anything or anyone, what would that wish be and why?

A better health. I suffer from Fibromyalgia and that sucks! I know, I know, I ought to wish for world peace or to end hunger, but I’m only human. Well, mostly human with a pinch of devil ;-)

I am really sorry to hear about your health. We live in one world and your health comes before anything else. World peace will never happen even though its a lovely thought. Maybe one day!

Moving on from the gloom in life, lets have a little fun ;)

I would like you to make a short story up using no more than 500 words containing every one of these 14 key words; Lighter, Coat, Cat, remote control, Window, Dog poo, Eye, Sex, shoe, Lamp, TV, Spoon, DM!

I was sitting by the window with the TV running in the back ground, twirling the remote control in my hands. To staff of boredom I decided to check out Facebook. The ultimate black hole sucking you in and suddenly several hours is gone. It was the usual things that littered my timeline, inspirational pictures and quotes, cute animals, people’s lunches, authors pawning off their books and lots of drama.

Suddenly I noticed I had a DM. I opened it and there was a picture of a big hunk of eye candy looking out at me. He was ruggedly handsome, black hair with a white streak, strong cheekbones, full lips and intense azure blue eyes. He was licking a spoon of what I can only guess was nutella. I have no idea of how long I was looking at him, but I’m pretty sure that I was drooling. There was no text with the pic and when I tried to access his profile I was thrown back to my own timeline.  Damn Facebook and their constant changes.

I decided to walk off my Facebook anger. I put on my shoes which smelled suspiciously of dog poo, though there was nothing to see.  I grabbed my summer coat and went out into the slightly chilly night. As I rounded the corner to the park I saw him sitting under the street lamp. He had a black and white coat and a big fluffy tail. He was looking straight at me, unnerving me a bit. He got up and walked towards me. Slowly and leisurely as only a cat can. The next thing I know there was a flash and instead of a cat, my mysterious stranger from the Facebook DM was walking towards me. It was pure sex stalking towards me. His eyes freezing me in place. As he reached me he kept walking, forcing me to back up until my back hit the park wall. He placed his hands on each side of my head, leaning in until his lips hovered above mine. My breath rattled out of my lounges in short bursts as his tongue sneaked out licking my lips. He slid his knee between my legs, my whole body shuddering at the contact.  His right hand gapped my neck and his left my thigh, running up under my short skirt. I felt my panties being ripped off and his fingers finding my soft core. I moaned loudly leaving my mouth open for him to invade. He tasted of nutella. While his tongue explored my mouth, his fingers brought me to an intense climax, causing me to blackout for a short moment. When I opened my eyes he was gone. The black and white cat once again sitting under the street lamp, though now he was ignoring me. I pulled myself together and hurried home. As I took off my coat, a card with a zippo lighter pic and a phone number fell out of the pocket.

Now that I like, but my problem is now I want to read what happens next...

When I first started writing I had a lot of negative people around me, I know I  had to lose that energy in order to continue writing and fulfilling what others thought I couldn’t do. Did you ever experience any of this when you first started writing or was you lucky enough to have the right support around you?

One day I told my mom that I was going to write a book, her reply was “about time” and then she proceeded to tell me that she was going to write one too called “My Life As A Horse.”

I’m very lucky to have a family that supports me in everything I do. I’m truly blessed.

It must me great to have a supportive family who believe in what you are doing...

If you had a chance to run any country and make a difference, what county would it be and why?

I’d start with my own country, Denmark and when DK was running smoothly, then the whole nation could help other countries get on their feet too.

That sounds great to me...

What would you say the worse thing a reader has ever said to you and what was your reaction?

I have been lucky and only get positive feedback so far *knock on wood*

That's always good to hear Helle...

I would like you to vision yourself walking down a busy high street with your partner and suddenly there was a noise that came from his bottom and people turned around looking at you, what would your reaction be and why?

If I had a partner he would be smart enough to hurry and ask out loud “Did you just fart?” effectively blaming me for his noise.

I thought it was me that did that 'Giggles'...

Use only two words that would describe you?

 Chocoholic, Loony

Theres not a thing wrong in that, look at me and I like chocolate :)...

Have you ever been…

A, The owner of a lonely heart

B. The owner of a broken heart

C. None of the above?

If the answer is C, please can you tell the reader how you have done it, I can see the reader would being interested to know that one, I know I am.

 B.

Awww I am sorry. The key is to keep smiling and always leave your heart open for the next chapter to start...

Its time for a little fun, I would like you to do the rhyme ‘Mary had a little lamb’. Using your own words and without holding back.

  I seriously suck at rhyming!
Lucy had a big bad ass
  Swinging it with major sass
Causing men to fall on their ass.

When you are writing, do you ever think, 'Erm me and my partner did that last night, that has to go into the story as?

I’m sure that if I had a partner there would be episodes I could use in a book. Previous experiences has certainly inspired some of my poetry.

I can't say anything to that other than read my books, their all in there...

If you could be a Musical instrument, what would you be and why?

I would totally be a cello.  Big, curvy, easy for a man to embrace with his whole body and a lot of strings to play on. Tihihi
It sounds lush instrument to play, but having strings to play? Have you ever thought of waxing! Just a thought... Anyway moving on 'Giggles'

If you could change one thing about you as a person, what would that one thing be?

NO! I would like to be better to say no and not feel guilty for saying it.

I can't help you on that one. I have the same problem at this end, I am riggled in gult when it come to saying no, thats just going to the bar ;)!

I know we all remember our first kiss, would you say yours was a good experience or a bad one?  Please explain why.

It was a New Year’s Eve and a bit awkward, because I had no clue what to do. Luckily me boyfriend did.

At least one of you knew what you was doing. My first kiss was when I was around 10, I think it was a kiss anyway, there was no rain that day other than what came off her tong that was lashing against my chin at the time. Thinking about it now, she was just washing my face...

Do you ever remember a part in your life that’s made a huge impact on you as a person. If so what was it and why?
That must have been when my grandfather died.
I was lucky to grow up living next door to my grandparents.  They had a small farm, so there was always someone home when my brother and I got home from school.  He was such a big influence in my life and it broke my heart when he died.

I can rate to that. I did a small poem for my grandad on my youtube video, Louie Has Landed 'The Early Days' to keep his memory alive. I don't think there's a day that goes by with out me thinking about him...

Who inspired you to write or was it always a dream to be an author?
I started writing because all the people in my head was becoming really loud. It’s not like it was a life-long dream or anything and I knew how hard it was to be published, so I just started writing to quiet the voices. Luckily I met Melissa Craig on Twitter the same year and learned about self-publishing.  The fact that Melissa herself was a newly published author and had only been writing for a year, was a huge inspiration to me.  Shortly after I met Charity Parkerson through Melissa and they have both helped me so much in my publishing endeavours. Reading the works of poets Amber-Jerome Norrgard, Ben Ditmars, Robert Zimmermann, Mark Rice and Writers Inc inspired me to start writing poetry, which has lead me to publish two poetry collections.

Can you tell the reader about your latest work and also tell the reader where they can find you.

Nocturnal Embers is a collection of poetry and poetic images that comes from the heart and soul of the author. It tells about the life of a person who suffers from chronic pain. Of the thoughts that prey on her in the Night. Of the simple joys we must not forget. All with a touch of Nordic mythology.
